“ Gatsbys has always had a special place in my heart. It's one of the oldest bars in Winston Salem and the owners have always taken pride in displaying a fun and inviting atmosphere. With the new upgrades since Covid, you can really tell a difference in the upgraded atmosphere too. The bartenders are great and witty, making your visits fun and exciting. Brent G will always be the best bartender there, as he cares the most about his patrons! I moved away, but every time I'm in town, I always try to make a trip back to Gatsbys to get a taste of the good ol' days! Would highly recommend!!! ”

“ Wether it’s Brent, Jenna, or Chelsea behind the bar it’s always a speedy service and a one of a kind conversation. They create the atmosphere, and the new floors and paint, along with the cool novelties hanging on the walls, just make it seem like a cozy little bar. They always have karaoke going as well and that seems to be a hit there, or if you’re a sports fan they usually always have a game or two showing. Always a fan. Clientele was filled with a good mix of regulars and people of all ages, color and creed. Everyone comfortable with each other and my wife and I were made to feel comfortable and welcome. The bartender also kicks butt! ”
